I have many friends & family in this small community & it's hard to hear that more & more children are getting covid in our community. What I find deceitful is that parents are not getting the information from the school system as new cases are being confirmed. They claim it's due to HIPPA, I am well aware of HIPPA that's why names can't be mentioned which is understandable. What I don't understand is why the parents aren't hearing about the potential threat of covid to their own child. Parents- don't be afraid to say my child has covid let other parents know to protect their own child better. No matter what the "higher-ups" are telling you, tell other parents for them to decide whether it's worth the risk to send them to school or keep them home. The children are the future of our community!! They are watching & listening to everything we do & say. Our actions or failure to react will help determine who they are in the future. Are we all sitting a good example by showing them trust & care by doing & saying what's right or will they too keep quite & hope things just get better. Prayers for our county & all the ones affected by covid.
