I’m not sure they get new books. Everything I see that comes out of there is old and torn. The books can’t be easy for kids to find. There is no organization.

I have been in there for awards ceremonies and club inductions, and I find myself not wanting to take pictures because the background of my pictures would be horrible with all that junk sitting around! It’s all you can see! You can’t even clean up for special events? They have dumpsters there. Throw the trash away!

My daughter brought a book home from this library and it was moldy inside. There are several book fairs at this school each year. Can they not get new books to put in there from the book fairs?

I was recently in the same library and thought the same thing! Empty boxes everywhere, the books look old and worn out. It is not a child friendly space at all.

We visited one of the local elementary schools recently, and I was shocked to see how cluttered and dirty this library looked! School libraries should be bright and welcoming not dark and junk and trash piled everywhere. I’m not sure how the kids even find a book they are looking for. Do schools no longer get money for librarians and books?
