I agree! I think each and every woman is entitled to a condom and to dress as the orifice of her choice and march proudly!

Maybe some people feel guilty for not participating....they just don't realize that's where their angry criticism is coming from.

Heels, I agree with every word you said and I'm officially giving up. Believe what you want to believe, it doesn't matter to me. Just focus on taking care of the ones you have at home.

I really could not give a rats *** about the marches. Its their right, if they felt it is a good cause then good for them. I will say some of the comments about Planned Parenthood and other women's issues are laughable. You are really believing these "Alternative Facts"

But providing contraception would defeat the purpose of Planned Parenthood, which is to make as much money as possible selling aborted baby parts.

It's really a shame they missed an opportunity to help the less fortunate.
With over a million marching around the world, if each person protesting had donated $1, they could have provided 1.3 million Planned Parenthood women... a condom.

Glitter, they cant be that smart, they have to save their money for Meth and Cigarettes, and the Morning after pill is readily available to them 24 hours a day. They are just to SORRY to pay for and by it.

G&G, I don't believe they did raise money for any other organizations but this is very typical when you organize a fundraiser to only pick one beneficiary as to maximize the effect of your money. For example, let's say you raise $100,000 - that money is going to have more benefit for one cause versus only $10,000 spread amongst 10 different charities.
Also there are other, more effective types of birth control besides condoms but moving past that, they also raised money to provide under-privileged women with low to no cost pap smears, breast exams, cancer screenings and other medical services including unborn children receiving prenatal care

"Are you really arguing against a woman being in control of her own reproductive rights by choosing her own form of birth control?"
Lol, I'm not arguing against it. It's not even a talking point to the question. A woman can buy a .75 condom as easily as a man. Who is stopping her?
So, besides the big t-shirt sale, what other money was raised given the fabulous opportunity?

Money was raised to benefit Planned Parenthood. I'm trying to tell you that Planned Parenthood is the good cause that money was raised for. I don't know how else to say it?
Most teenagers may be too embarrassed to buy condoms, or in the heat of the moment have sex anyway without a condom, condoms break.
Are you really arguing against a woman being in control of her own reproductive rights by choosing her own form of birth control?
I have to go to sleep now, way past my bedtime but I'll respond tomorrow to any other questions you may have. Good night

It's not a discussion of the worthiness of Planned Parenthood.
What monies were raised, in the women's marches, to benefit charities? The t-shirts, with funds to benefit PP, had been sold prior to the marches, as well.
If a woman has to dress as a v*gina to have her voice heard, surely she would have thought about raising someone money for a good cause while she was at it.
Maybe she could sell her v*gina costume on ebay and give the proceeds to a good cause.

If you read my entire comment you will see that I did address your question:
"I would say providing under-privileged women with contraception (prevention of pregnancy and ultimately prevention of abortions) and other medical services is a worthy cause"
And I wasn't trying to school you about Planned Parenthood, I was merely providing you with facts that supported my argument that Planned Parenthood is indeed a worthy cause for a fundraiser

Lol...you totally missed the question. I don't need to be schooled on Planned Parenthood.
What charitable entities benefitted, directly, from the Women's March? I mean, with millions around the world marching, surely some good came from it since few got a real takeaway of what the message was.

I don't know where you got your information and I don't have time to research it but I will say this ...
Planned parenthood provides a lot more services than abortions. Taken from a nonpartisan, nonprofit website http://www.factcheck.org/20...-services/
Abortions accounted for 3 percent of the nearly 10.6 million total services provided by Planned Parenthood clinics in 2013, according to its annual report. Some services it provided in addition to abortions were: 4.5 million tests and treatment for sexually transmitted infections 3.6 million contraception related services 935,573 cancer screenings including breast exams and Pap tests 1.1 million pregnancy tests and prenatal services I would say providing under-privileged women with contraception (prevention of pregnancy and ultimately prevention of abortions) and other medical services is a worthy cause

Yes, it is primarily the reason. And I noticed you still don't want to address that your numbers are way off.

I'd have to work with Fins. (No offense Fins, I just don't feel like we would mesh).
Plus I LOVE what I do.
