To illustrate DB's willingness to ignore facts and misrepresent data and information for the sake of appearing as if he's won an argument. As he's doing right now by asserting that he knew a bunch of farmers and none of them got subsidied (a fact he couldn't and wouldn't know unless he was their accountant) and even if that was true it's anecdotal and doesn't change the fact that big ag is completely enmeshed with subsidies. All it takes is typing it into a search engine.

The data suggests otherwise DB, not that it matters because again, you're a brain dead shill. Okay the old stuff. We want more articles about electric cars. Remember when you said rivians were terrible and as proof posted a YouTube video of a guy talking about how much he loved his Robin? Oh wait can't do that anymore LOL

I had a business that required me to deal with farmers. I dealt with farmers that farmed stuff you probably don't even know is farmed. Farmers who grew grass for golf courses, and others that grew hay for race horses. Not to mention potato farmers all over the country... even on Long Island New York. I knew a potato farmer once in eastern NC that made a **** on one years crop. There was a potato blight that year, in the mid 70s. Google it.
You the one don't know 5hit hillbilly. You and Jimbloz.

"Let me say it again... I've known farmers my entire life and never known one that got federal money.
Jimbloz says: "Farmers who rely on payments from the federal government to remain afloat are treading water just to survive".
I say maybe those that require tax money to stay afloat are in the wrong business.

Subsidies are extremely common in agriculture. If you don't know that then you don't know anything about it.

Know-it-all CoupCoup is now the leading GW authority on farm subsidies.
https://www.gao.gov/product...-25-107174
We reviewed U.S. Department of Agriculture programs that provide financial assistance to farmers and ranchers. We found that USDA provided $161 billion in assistance from FY2019-2023. Of that, 42% went to those affected by international trade disruptions, the pandemic, and natural disasters. Additionally, about 1 million farmers and ranchers received assistance each year. The number of those who are part of historically underserved groups-e.g., new farmers, veterans, and people subject to racial or ethnic prejudice-more than doubled. Texas, North Dakota, and Iowa, in that order, received the most assistance.
