As far as tiny Tims salary their ain't no limit. He makes whatever he wants to. All he has to do is put down ever how many hours he wants..nobody checks. He's got it made for another 4 days then the big WAKE UP call. "What the heck just happened?" "Who cut down the money tree?"

They ARE Protecting and Serving......THE WRONG PEOPLE! With this sheriff's office you will get just as much help as your bank account and last name will allow. These guys PROTECT each other and a few of their cronies and SERVE themselves by getting paid for overtime that they don't work, using county owned vehicles for personal use, and the scary thing is they have probably done a lot of things that we don't KNOW about! They have been feasting at a taxpayers buffet for a long time now and I am sick and tired of helping feed their huge appetites.

Yes they call the DA then turn around and the Sheriff bad mouths the DA.. He even tells his deputies not to go to court on their cases, that is so two faced, I think there game is up because they have gossiped so much to the public.

bustedbyme they think they are on the top of the food chain by calling people in high places all the time but in reality it makes them look bad as if they don't know what they are doing, what they have forgotten they are the small fry in that food chain and the people in high places could care less about them, its just a political game and they are the joke at the end of the game win or loose, and for some of them to think they could be sheriff someday is sad because all of their reputations have been tarnished by their lack of knowledge in law and they have forgot the golden rule TO PROTECT AND TO SERVE they think the public is their to serve them and all of them have abused their powers to be. VOTE FOR CHANGE but if they some how they beat Maines in the election don't worry because what goes around will come back to them, that's is how life works.

The sheriff and his boys always have a good reason for not winning cases in court they tell everyone its the district attorney fault that's all you ever here, they try to make them look bad as a excuse for their bad work, if I was the D A I would fry them. I think the D As office does a good job with the junk the sheriffs department brings to court.

It's a shame how this people still get by with what they do. For example good ole deputy Carrier, Charged with a domestic...... But yet arrest people for the same thing, oh get this he had to go in front of the sheriff standards board and guess who was on the board..... Good ole Squeak!! Hmmm. Put yet he's a lair, lie in open court, hey if he charges you, don't worry, judicial officials know he's a liar. The list for chief deputy Duncan can go on and on and on. Good ole Hawks couldn't make a cop if he tried..... Fail and Sparta PD, failed at Virginia State police, I guess you found a good department to work for now, free reign. Stays in Surry more then here!! I just you working on a case. Heck the other day one was feeding cattle on Glade Valley Road out of the County truck in plain clothes.
