The Alleghany County Special Olympics sponsors the 2nd Annual Polar Plunge in Alleghany County. It is not just an event--it's an experience that will become a winter tradition for hundreds of warm-hearted Plungers! Help us kick off this event to support persons who have intellectual disabilities and provide opportunities for them to live their lives to the fullest potential. It is a day of fun, food, and fellowship for entire families. Individual plungers are asked to raise a minimum of $50. Donations can be made for Ashley Weaver and Bob Bamberg at the Chamber of Commerce if desired.
