The Small Business Center of Surry Community College will offer �Small Business Success . . . It�s All about Relationships� on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 2:00 until 4:00pm. This informative seminar is offered at no cost to participants and will meet at the Elkin Center, located at 1461 North Bridge Street in Elkin. Dennis Lowe will be the presenter. Lowe is a former Small Business Center Director, past Board Chairperson for the Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce, and owner of Lowe Consulting.

Maintaining good relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, and the business community is critical for small business success. During this interactive session, participants will learn how to create customer (and employee) loyalty by exploring: a four-step process for creating positive sales/service experiences; four critical business communication skills; tips for interacting with customers and employees face-to-face, by phone or via e-mail; and how to best deal with disgruntled customers and employees without losing your composure. Join us for this fun and informal opportunity to learn methods and strategies for a win-win outcome for all parties involved in your business.
