The Alleghany County Special Olympics sponsors the 3rd Annual Polar Plunge in Alleghany County. This event is to raise funds to support persons who have intellectual disabilities and provide opportunities for them to live their lives to the fullest potential. The Plunge will be on March 7 with the Alleghany Chamber of Commerce sponsoring the event. Individual plungers are asked to raise a minimum of $50. If you would like to donate, but don't want to plunge, come by the Chamber and place your donations.

Registration forms are available at the Chamber for those who would like to participate.
