Tour de Mountains Cycling Challenge

Public Event

Saturday, Jun. 13, 2015

Bicyclists, experience small-town hospitality while enjoying the spectacular beauty and challenge of the Blue Ridge! A 16-mile route offers the novice a taste of mountain cycling. The 100-mile century features more than 10,000 feet of climb to challenge the most experienced rider. Rides of 35 and 66 miles round out your choices. Enjoy a breakfast of ham biscuits, fruit, cookies, coffee and drinks before the ride. When you finish, hot pizza will be waiting. SAG support is with you start to finish. Every 10-15 miles expect stocked rest stops manned by smiling volunteers.

Sunday, extend your weekend and canoe or kayak the New River. Our partner New River Canoes is offering riders a great rate for this river experience.
