I am not tearing anyone down. I am not judging anyone . I live here in this county. I know how it is. And I have been on the receiving end of an extra marital affair and been the last to know and it’s horrible. All I am saying is this: I don’t know if it’s true or not. I have a kid here in public schools. I just think someone in authority needs to find out for sure if all this is going on. If so address it in the right manner and if not leave these ppl alone.

I am trying to stand behind the families of the accused- If it were true (I don't know whether it is or not) why was this not taken up with their families/wives first? why post it here? do you all even realize in your tiny heads that you may have hurt people who didn't deserve to be hurt, and publicly at that? that is my point... I got out of Alleghany County a while back, and I thank god for it. It is people like you that don't have anything else to do other than run your mouths about people and tear them down. If your spouse was cheating on you (and I knew you and I knew 100% it was a fact like some of these people are claiming) I would tell you to your face not get on some social media site starting trouble. there are some things that don't need to be shared with the world and all of this was done the wrong way. And judging by your screen name it seems you want to keep your identity out of it as well. so look in the mirror at yourself before you start pointing fingers.

2017, I agree, in general, w what you said. All I am saying is this: I am not accusing anyone . I don’t know the facts. However, if the accusations are true, the persons need to be removed from the board. I have a student in Alleghany Co public schools. I don’t want people w the morals (if proven true) making decisions that affect the public school systems. Would these persons have been elected had they been having an extra marital affair at the time of election? Absolutely not . I have been on the receiving end of an extra marital affair and I know the damage that is done. I can only imagine the damage that would be done is the accusations are proven untrue . The facts should be presented and chosen true or untrue.

I do know these people and there families. Afairs are true. I have been told by someone who knows for sure. Dosent matter who, just told they are true. People slip up and say things sometimes. One is even public knowledge in case people haven't noticed. What has happened to people's morals and character. Wife's and Husbands being lied to. Kids having to deal with it. All out of pure selfishness. Based simply on how a person feels, knowing feelings change. Happy, sad, ok, not ok, tired, energetic, love , no love. Sad and stupid. Grow up people, can't let your feelings run your lives. It may not always be easy to do what's right by your spouse and kids, but it's better than busting up a family or two. No job is worth that. Factor in the ethics problem too. How can they do what's best for our kids if they can't even do what's best for their own. From what I hear, I think steps are being taken to remove certain people from there positions.

I think all of you people don't even know these people you are talking about witch conserns me. Because if think there kids are not reading this you are crazy. One of the accused wife has spoken out on here. And didn't hide behind a stage name like the rest of us. So if u don't know the facts or the people your slamming how can you judge. Just remember lies and made up rumors can hurt more people than just the accused. And what if some of this is just rumors think of the damage you all are doing to the families.

I just want to see proof--- and furthermore if it is true why don't you all go tell the wives and family of these "board members" instead of sitting behind a keyboard gossiping about it? and don't even begin to tell me for a hot second that "oh well its none of my business"--- well you sure made it your business when you posted to social media- so go on...im waiting???

I agree w you on one thing for sure it was handled in the wrong manner if it’s true. Especially for the innocent people involved. I don’t think it’s fair to assume the ones behind exposing this “scandal” are teachers. I guess come election time will tell the tale.

It's not just the school board using their authority, it's all over the county, world, etc....! It comes down to the fact that all these adults are butt hurt because most of these post are prob from teachers etc! They didn't get something they wanted so they are now going to speak out! Throw a tantrum! No one knows what goes on in a persons home life! No, if these are all true accusations then none of them went about it the right way! It's done and over with move on with your life's cause next week it will be about someone or something else! Instead of judging, prayer for these people! Go spend your time volunteering, be productive in life!

And doing meaningless work, I would suggest speaking w a member of the school board, but I think they may have other things on their minds..your kid and his or her welfare is probably the last thing on their mind .

This is all just ridiculous, who cares who is screwing who???? I have been cheated on in the past and am much better off now! The kids are seeing much worse going on at home and school, I'm sure! They could care less who is with who! And I hope the ones that are judging these people don't have a TV at home because they are being influenced by that crap they are watching on the news! I hope they don't have a cell phone because I promise you can look up anything and everything there! So don't throw rocks at a glass house idiots! I am currently more concerned at this point at what my child has to deal with in English class! Having to write papers on complete bull**** and then having to write papers on weekends! Really let kids be kids, Mr. I have no life English teacher!

I'm not sure that anything is over yet noonecares. Just because one may not see anything happening doesn't mean that it's not. I think people are finally fed up with certain things happening in this county. I think there may be several things going to happen and when they do, then maybe people will start to do things better. I've heard talks of several people going to run for school board just to clean up the mess. Wonder who all the mess is? That is if it takes that long. If it does then it would be interesting to see what might they do in regard's to administration for not doing it sooner. Who knows, only time will tell. Would hate to be the ones just waiting to find out though.

Since we're discussing the school system let me throw this out there. Some of the coaches at the high school could take a few lessons from the youth football coaches. Encourage ALL your players not just those starters!

After all the rumors, after the name games, after calling out these people to resign, quit, or to even be fir d, what was the outcome? Did anyone confront these “horrible” people that you have bashed and trashed? At the end of the day who still has the jobs you were vying for, who is still an elected official on the School Board? Your smear campaign hasn’t worked, the world didn’t end, and tomorrow when all of you haters wake up, you will still be miserable while the people you so blatantly called out will go on with their lives without worrying about you! Who won?????

Black lives aren't the only ones that matter wronghole willy. It's amazing how quick the news would be here for that though. Not bad judgments though. Might would remove the board members and fire the teachers along with it though. As far as the open relationship, your right in a way. Two of the teachers shall be forced to open jars of jelly with rusted lids, using only their VIRGINNIES. To the teacher that no longer has to hide her relationship. I believe she has suffered enough . I think we should start a go-fund me page and feel sorry that she got so lonely that she let a ace hole like that crawl on top her......EVEN STEVEN??????
