Nope. I don't know their motivation and all we can do is make a guess and based on what we have been told it isn't that hard to guess why. I would guess that the FL shooter was motivated by his ISIS sympathies based on what he said in 911 call and that Dylan Roof chose a black church for a reason.

Actually, no one said this, though I believe he was motivated by a hatred for the LGBT community. And, oddly, no one said Dylann Roof was motivated by his faith, either. You seem to be jumping, again, from point to point, without sticking the landing.

So are you saying both the Orlando shooter and Roof were motivated by religion?

I agree that it was an attack on the h*mosexual community, but logically when Dylan Roof attacked a church didn't we say it was an attack on the black community? Couldn't the same be said? But that's not what was said. Instead because he was white, we assume it was about race instead of an attack on the church.

Nobody had to assume anything, his own words spelled out his racist motivations.

While condolences obviously go out to all the victims of this crime, I believe most consider this to be an anti-LGBT hate crime as opposed to an attack on the Latino community specifically.
