1) Being a lame duck is no issue. If a person can't lead in the space of six years they weren't a leader. Clinton didn't let lame duck status affect him. If lame duck status is so bad, why the **** do any presidents seek that second term.
2) Try it again. The political realities are different today. The president has no need of a "mini me" that he ignores for most of his term.

Is support a form.of term.limits:
Non consecutive 6 year terms for President. She/he can run again after sitting out a term. The president has too much to do to spend all that time campaigning.
President and VP elected separately.

Electoral college could based on congressional districts rather than states.

House and Senate members serve not more than two consecutive terms. Might as well have house members serve four year terms and save the costs of elections.

Same rules for Governor and Lt Gov as for Pres and VP.

NC council of state should be nominated by the Governor and confirmed by the State Senate.

THE CONSTITUTION IS VERY CLEAR ON THE ISSUE.

It needs clarification. We can't keep bringing in foreign workers.

LET'S START OFF WITH ITEM #4 IN YOUR LIST SINCE IT IS THE EASIEST.

THAT ISSUE IS ALREADY COVERED BY ARTICLE I, SECTION 8 SUBSECTION 4.

There is several I could support.

1. Term limits for all federal positions. We have a large pool of qualified people in this country.

2. Balanced budget amendment. Within a period of time as to not crash our economy.

3. Foreign aid can be no more than 2% of our budget. That would include aid distributed thru the military.

4.Legal immigration can only occur if our unemployment is less than 5%.

WELL, WHAT CHANGES DO YOU PROPOSE?

If we basically have four more years of the same then the convention will not lose momentum. Where as if we get Rand Paul I think we lose momentum in the movement.

WHY WOULD THE ELECTION OF HILLARY GUARANTEE A CONVENTION?

YOU TEA PARTY NUTCASES THINK YOU CAN OVERTURN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION THAT WAY?

Just vote for Hillary. Then we get it for sure. I think the convention could do a lot more to fix our country than a conservative president.
