Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Do you know who Paul was preaching against? Those that was teaching Circumcision and keeping the LAWS of MOSES. That is why Paul said you are not Saved by works but by Grace that COMES from FAITH in Jesus. Now Read with the knowledge of TRUTH. It's the Grace that GIVES me and you the ability to overcome temptation and stay TRUE to God.
8For by grace you have been saved THROUGH FAITH, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; 9it is not from works, so no one may boast
I put little value in the writings of Paul and question anyone who elevates Pauls teachings to be gospel.
If you read further in the Bible you will read what the apostle James has to say about faith but Paul never utters any other direction than having faith.
James 2:14-26

God allows people to do as they please. What brought death into the World? When you take God AWAY only Evil prevails.

You don't read your Bible. There are a number of times that God killed thousands of people and not one where Satan harmed anyone.

I have questions for you. How many humans has Satan every actually harmed? How many humans has God harmed? This reminds me of the evil Palestinians Vs the righteous Israeli. I guess good and evil depends on who is telling the story.
