Workers will be going in and out of that room. Linens will be coming out of that room. Linens that have blood all over them. It will only take one drop. This disease has never been in this country. It will only take one psycho going into that room and bringing out a drop of a blood and it will be mass hysteria. Put your head in the sand all you want.

I doubt very much that either patient will be walking around in public, bleeding all over people, so there's probably no need to panic!

One drop of that blood gets out into the public and we are all goners.

I think they should have stayed here in the first place and not put themselves in danger and now putting people that have to care for them in danger. Not to mention the cost associated with getting them both back to the US on separate flights.

Why not keep them where it was contracted?

If it comes to close for comfort, then you'll find me wrapped in bubble wrap, living in a huge hamster ball! This is a germaphobes worst nightmare, lol.

Well considering they took precautions to keep him isolated during flight there really is no danger to those who wont be coming in contact with him. But those pesky worry warts who want to cause havoc certainly will do so when there is no need to panic. At least others who were well aware of what the risk ensues were willing to put their own fears aside to try and help a fellow American!!

If you are really concerned about contracting Ebola then I suggest you not closely associate with anyone recently returned from Africa. The incubation period is up to 21 days so they may not know they are sick. As far as the two returning, we are well equipped to handle the situation and this is their best chance for survival. God bless them.

Because blood works and fluids work. it is compassionate care. The only thing to do is just that. Build the body to fight the virus. Plus, they can assist us in the use of experimental medicines that could cure the whole thing. Better here than anywhere.
