Given the ENORMOUS healthcare costs documented by CDC statistics, for MSM (men who have sex with men)...will this group be charged to reflect the cost burdens they inflict on society?

I can believe that HIV is more prominent in the gay community for the simple fact that most people think protection is just to stop pregnancy. I can see the mentality being, "no risk of pregnancy, no need to use protection." It's stupid, but people do stupid things. The same thing happens in the straight community, but, again I can see it being at a smaller rate because of the pregnancy risk there's more frequent use of protection. So, I don't think it's God trying to punish the gays, I think it's just people being idiots.

Respectfully, As I understand it, promiscuity has been high historically in that population. Many HIV positive individuals continued to engage in risky behaviors knowing that they could /would infect others. I think a good portion of that blame is deserved.

The aids guru, dr faucci (sp?) has been sucking on the government t*t (grants for research) for over 30 years and labs have spent billions of dollars to understand a disease that could have been largely contained by common sense.
