There has been a 90% decrease in border crossings since Trump took office so percentage wise Trump has deported a whole lot more
I haven't read anything about a 90% decrease, and the CBP report only goes up to January...
But CBS had this to say about it... Illegal crossings along the U.S. southern border have been trending downward over the past year, including under the Biden administration, after spiking to an all-time high in late 2023. They first dropped in early 2024 after Mexican officials expanded efforts to stop migrants from reaching the U.S. border and then fell further in the summer following former President Biden's move to sharply restrict access to the asylum system.
What policies do you believe Trump enacted that would be responsible for a further decrease in border enforcement actions?

Hey Albert, did you see the part where the phoney claims winter starts in August?
Must not be from this part of Trump country.

Yes, the time of year significantly affects migration from Mexico, particularly due to weather patterns, with extreme drought conditions in certain regions often leading to increased migration to the United States during those periods; essentially, people are more likely to migrate during the harshest weather months in their home areas, seeking better conditions elsewhere. Weather extremes: Severe drought or heavy rainfall in agricultural regions of Mexico can push people to migrate in search of better conditions. Seasonal labor needs: Some migration patterns are tied to seasonal agricultural work in the United States, with more people migrating during harvest seasons. Favorable travel conditions: Milder weather during certain months can make the journey across the border easier, leading to a potential increase in migration.

Phoenix, Winter has nothing to do with it, just read the excerpt from from the cited article.
"From Jan. 21 through Jan. 31, 2025, the number of U.S. Border Patrol apprehensions along the southwest border dropped 85% from the same period in 2024."

Who does pick the effing fruit then? Numbers decrease in the fall because there is less fruit to pick.

FYI--Migration always drops in the winter months starting in August and picks up again in the spring and summer months. The decrease is due to weather.

President Donald Trump deported 37,660 people during his first month in office, previously unpublished U.S. Department of Homeland Security data show, far less than the monthly average of 57,000 removals and returns in the last full year of Joe Biden's administration.
I would have no problem with Trump continuing the Obama and Biden policy of deporting any immigrant that is convicted of a violent crime. My concern has been his policy of arresting and attempting to deport anyone that's brown... that policy is straight out of Mein Kampf.
But it looks like, in practice, Trump's policies are far less effective than Biden's. So either he's been all-talk... or just incompetent.
Either way, I agree with the decrease.
