People switched to store brands to save money then they increased in price. No matter what you do it cost a lot more to buy groceries now compared to four years ago.

Be careful the pork and beans are half cans when cheaper. Walmart always gives you the full cans.

Ingles has the 15 ounce cans, 10 for $10. Dollar General also has them for $1.
I couldn't find the price at Ingles in 2020, but I found this coupon to get them for $0.67 at Dollar General July 18, 2020. And the picture shows the regular price is $0.85.
So the price went up $0.15 in the last 3 1/2 years...

Surely you remember when Trump made a deal with Big Bean and told them to get into compact cans . Now the size of pork and bean cans is almost a crisis but so far Biden has kept it down to a challenge, (like the border) It is all Trump's fault. Surely you can see that can't you?

Sounds like someone's had to much whiskey to drink or they've not been into a grocery store since 1994.

Thisun is an odd one to be picking on, boony. Theys way better examples of price gouging than pork n beans, them little flip tip cans has always been higher cause of the covenience of flipping the d*** tops. You younguns ort to be able to come up with a better excuse for ur lack of gambling money than such as the price of beans.

No doubt Sleepy Joe has shares in Van Camp. What's the betting he told them to start gouging us with huge price increases?

Saw a floor display of Van Camp pork and beans in Ingle's Market today. Had to do a double take... the cans looked as small as potted meat. On examination they were 8 ounce cans about half the old 15 oz size. And the price, 4 for $5.00. Before Joe Biden came along the big cans were often on sale 3 for $1.00.
