According to scholars, Yahshua was crucified in A.D. 31. Now, if we trace back the first day of Unleavened Bread for that year, it falls on April 25, Thursday. Since Passover is just a day before, then we can conclude that Christ was killed at around 3 pm on Wednesday.

Alright, I understand there are some debates about what year Christ was killed. However, generally speaking, most scholars would agree it was A.D. 31 and if it is, then we have stronger proof that Yahshua was killed on a Wednesday and not definitely on a Friday

Why would Mary go to the tomb if Jesus had just been laid in it after knowingly it would be 3 nights and 3 days? Regardless of what time after His Resurrection the Sabbath Day he would still be gone when she got there. People needs to read the Bible and Stop trusting religion.

Christian Religion says Jesus was crucified on Friday before sunset. Just say he was laid in the tomb say 6 pm Friday.. SABBATH DAY at 6 pm would be 1 complete day so let's start on day 2 comes Sunday the 2nd day 6 pm so the Third day finishes at 6 pm Monday.
------
Jesus was crucified on Wednesday laid in the tomb before sunset 6 pm on Wednesday continue to Thursday 6 pm 1 complete day continue we come to Friday 6 pm 2 complete days here comes day 3, The Sabbath Day.. Resurrection was before 6 pm so when Mary arrived at the tomb it was still dark Jesus was ALREADY risen . That's because his resurrection was the SABBATH DAY. I'll stay with Jesus , 3 nights and 3 Days which keeps the Sabbath Day of the Lord separating it from days of labor keeping it Holy..

How said it must be for a zealot's "final words" to be someone else's words and not even his own.

Why did you choose more of "man's teaching" (you copied and pasted from the blog that I showed to be in error) and not produce a verse from the Bible to back up your claim? Might I posit that it is because your faith in and trust for the actual words of the Bible are overcome by your zealotry to a cause that is not and cannot be supported by the Bible?

Final words
The Bible is clear: Jesus Resurrection Sunday never happened.

We need to stop believing and following Bible traditions. In fact, we must stop promoting lies.

We know that the main motivation why the churches prefer a resurrection Sunday is because they want to justify the keeping of Sunday worship instead of keeping the true Sabbath.

The belief that Jesus was resurrected on a Sunday was established to promote Sunday worship, which is the day when pagans worship the sun. Not only that but Resurrection Sunday is closely linked to Easter, a holiday rooted in paganism.

There are just so many things to learn. So, I highly recommend you read the following resources

Is it necessary to point out the hypocrisy of a zealot who rails against "man's teaching" in one post then uses the teaching of men to try to "prove" his ramblings.

Contrary to what the author of the blog post "11 Irrefutable Proofs that Jesus' Resurrection was not on Sunday" (available at: becomingchristians.com) states there is no scholarly agreement that the Crucifixion was in the year 31AD. In fact, most scholars come up with a span of years between 30AD and 34AD for the event. Perhaps the author of the blog post might have been more credible if he had written "Scholars who agree that the resurrection happened on Saturday have to use the year 31 because that is the only year that the math works for our foregone conclusion." If a blogger starts with an untruth, should we consider his manly teachings to be true?

To set aside Saint Luke's plain account of Sunday being three days after the crucifixion a "scholar" would have to discount the scholarly principle of novacula Occami. Cleopas refers to the crucifixion of Christ as a seminal event and, as a known disciple of Jesus, would not have any knowledge of these nebulas "other things that the Jewish religious leaders and Romans did." No, a more correct "scholarly" reading of the text is to read it as plainly as it is written. Something that neither the zealot nor the quoted blogger can do because it does not conform to their preconceived notion.

When one ascribes a "typo" to Saint Mark's text one begins to slip down a slippery slope. How many other "typos" are there in the Bible? Why would an all powerful and an all knowing God allow a "typo" to remain in such an important part of His message to the world? If it is, as you have repeated argued, a matter of man's salvation to believe Christ arose on a certain day, would God let stand, uncontested for eons, a typo that has condemned countless souls to Hades? Is the God that you claim to be following that impotent?

Instead, why not accept that there is no typo and that the text is written exactly was intended by God? How little faith you must have in God to believe that a human "typo" could derail His plan for humanity.

Here's a startling and shocking fact that most Christians don't know.

Christ was NOT killed on Friday, but instead, He was killed on a Wednesday according to how we reckon time.

So, what's the proof?

First off, you can trace the day and time when Yahshua or Jesus was crucified. We can do that by knowing when was the first day of Unleavened bread in the year crucifixion happened.

31 and if it is, then we have stronger proof that Yahshua was killed on a Wednesday and not definitely on a Friday.

Reason no. 8: Daniel's prophecy
One proof that Christ was killed on a Wednesday is the prophecy of Daniel:

26 "And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.

The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. (Daniel 9:26-27)

This prophecy talks about the Messiah and it mentions that Yahshua the Messiah will bring an end to sacrifices and offerings because He will serve as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins as we read in Hebrews 10:10:

10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

According to Daniel's prophecy, He made an end to sacrifices in the middle of the week.

What's the middle of the week?

It's Wednesday.

Reason no. 9: Wrong punctuation in Mark 16:9
One of the verses Christians use to prove Jesus resurrection Sunday is Mark 16:9.

Let's read:

9 Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.

This verse seems to clearly suggest that Yahshua rose early on the first day of the week. But is it correct?

First of all, we have already established that Christ didn't rise from the dead on a Sunday. If this is what this verse really says, then we have a problem as Mark 16:9 would contradict the rest of the scripture.

So, to harmonize this verse with other clear scriptures, we must dig deeper.

What might be the problem?

The problem is the placement of the comma in this sentence. Remember, there are no punctuations in the original Greek.

So, the proper rendering of this verse is as follows:

9 Now when He rose early, on the first day of the week He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.

The verse isn't saying that Christ rose on the first day of the week. Rather, Christ appeared to Mary Magdalene on Sunday morning.

Reason no. 10: Luke 24:21 does not support Jesus resurrection Sunday
Another verse being used by proponents of Easter Sunday is Luke 24:21.

We read:

21 But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.

When this conversation happened, it was Sunday. So, since the person talking said that on that day, Sunday, is the third day, then it is surmised that it is true, Jesus rose on Sunday.

However, we must understand this verse properly.

For one, IF this verse supports Easter Sunday, then we make Christ a liar. He himself said that He will be in the tomb for three days and three nights and Easter Sunday can't possibly accommodate that timeframe.

So, what might be the explanation?

The key to understanding this verse is the phrase, "since these things." What might be the speaker pertaining to when he said, "these things?"

Notice that after Christ was entombed, there were other things that the Jewish religious leaders and the Romans did.

We read that in Matthew 27:62-66:

62 On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, 63 saying, "Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise.' 64 Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, 'He has risen from the dead.' So the last deception will be worse than the first."

65 Pilate said to them, "You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how." 66 So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard.

These things happened on Friday. At this time, Christ was already in the tomb for about a day already.

So, in Luke 24:21, the phrase "since these things" refers to what the Romans and Jews did AFTER Christ was buried. Those things were done on Friday, making Sunday as the third day.

Reason no. 11: Empty tomb on Sunday does not mean Christ has just risen
One of the reasons why most Christians believe that Christ was resurrected on Sunday is because it was the day His tomb was found empty.

Here are the verses they use:

John 20:1- 1 Now the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.
Matthew 28:1-2 - 1 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.
Mark 16:2 - 2 Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
Luke 24:1 - 1 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.
As you can read from these verses, there's no proof that Christ was resurrected on a Sunday. What these verses are saying is that they only knew that the tomb was empty on the first day of the week!

It's like this, in a criminal investigation, if the police found a dead body on Wednesday, they don't automatically conclude that that person was killed on Wednesday. They would still have to investigate and determine when the person was exactly killed.

On Jesus resurrection Sunday, it was only the day they knew the tomb was empty. It doesn't necessarily mean that Christ was resurrected on that day.

Read what the angel has said to the women who discovered the tomb was empty:

5 But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. (Matthew 28:5-6)

As you can see, by the time the women went to the tomb, many hours had already passed after Yahshua was resurrected. Notice as well, the angel said, "for He is risen, AS HE SAID."

Yahshua rose from the dead exactly the way He prophesied it - meaning, He rose from the dead after 72 hours.

No more. No less.

The correct chronology of Christ's death
You just read the reasons why Jesus wasn't resurrected on Sunday. Instead, He was killed on Wednesday late afternoon and risen Saturday late afternoon, fulfilling the sign of His Messiahship.

The correct chronology of the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The correct chronology of the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Here's a quick summary of the correct Chronology of Jesus Christ's suffering, death, and resurrection:

Tuesday
On the night of Tuesday, Jesus Christ ate the evening Passover meal and instituted the New Covenant symbol of the Passover (Matthew 26:26-28).

Later that night, Jesus was betrayed by Judas in the Gethsemane garden (Matthew 26:47-56). He was then arrested and brought before the high priest for trial in the dead of the night.

Wednesday
After being tortured, Jesus was then crucified at around 9 am. His agony and suffering were prolonged until He took His last breath at around 3 pm (Matthew 27:46-50).

Because the Day of Unleavened Bread is about to start at sunset, the body of Jesus was placed in a tomb in a hurry (Matthew 27:57-60).

Please note that the Biblical reckoning of the day starts at sunset and ends at sunset.

Thursday
This is the first day of the Unleavened Bread, which lasts for seven days. The first and seventh days of the Unleavened Bread are high days or Sabbaths (Leviticus 23:4-7).

Wednesday night is the first night and Thursday daylight is the first day (24 hours).

Friday
The first day of the Unleavened Bread has now ended. Thus, the women can now buy and prepare spices for the body of Christ. However, they should also then prepare again for the weekly Sabbath, which will start on Friday sunset (Mark 16:1; Luke 23:56).

Thursday night is the second night and Friday daylight is the second day (24 hours).

Saturday
Saturday is the true Sabbath (Exodus 20:8-11). Thus, the followers of Christ rested on this day (Luke 23:56).

Friday night is the third night and Saturday daylight is the third day (24 hours).

Jesus Christ rose from the dead at the same time He was entombed - just before the sunset of Saturday.

Isn't it a significant thing that Christ didn't simply rise from the dead on any other day, but on the Sabbath day?

Sunday
The weekly Sabbath has passed. Early morning, the women brought the spices, ready to anoint the body of Christ. They went to the tomb Sunday morning when it was still dark (Luke 24:1; John 20:1).

The women discovered the tomb was empty and that Jesus had already risen (Matthew 28:1-6; Mark 16:2-6; Luke 24:2-3; John 20:1).

Final words
The Bible is clear: Jesus Resurrection Sunday never happened.

We need to stop believing and following Bible traditions. In fact, we must stop promoting lies.

No one witnessed creation, yet you accept that it happened as told in the Bible. No one witnessed Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, yet we are told His exact words. No one witnessed Christ's temptations, yet you yourself have used His words rejecting that temptation as "proof" of your zealotism. Apparently, you only require an eyewitness when you dislike what the Bible plainly says.

If one is in search of corroboration, one must look no further than Saint Mark's Gospel. The 9th verse of Saint Mark's 16th chapter is quoted from the King James Version of the Bible as "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils."

In the 24th chapter of Saint Luke's account, Cleopas clearly states that it has been three days since Christ was crucified (verse 21.) As further reading will show, Cleopas did not believe Mary Magdalene's account and it was not until verse 31 that Cleopas recognized Jesus. Verse 13 of that same chapter states in no uncertain terms that Cleopas's journey to Emmaus was the same day as when Mary Magdalene found the empty tomb-the First Day, or Sunday.

It is impossible to reconcile Jesus's resurrection on Saturday (the Sabbath) with Saint Luke's account of events that are found in Chapter 21. Furthermore, to argue that Jesus rose on the Sabbath is to assert that Saint Mark's Gospel is flawed thereby casting the entire Bible as fallible and thus, not divine

&&&&&&:

How many times have y'all people said the Catholic made the Bible. If they change congregation assembly to church to create religion they could have easily made it confusing by changing a word. ONLY thing a person can do is to believe in what Jesus spoke not what man TEACHES. I've already posted enough. To prove that people can't prove he was Resurrected on the FIRST DAY only confusion. I agree Jesus was already gone on the FIRST DAY. Math proves that there's not 3 nights and 3 days from Friday evening to Early morning while it was still dark Sunday. The Bible proves itself if you allow it. All THROUGH the Bible says the same thing all the way through Revelation. Obedience. Adam disobeyed the Lord God and brought Death into the world. only Jesus can take you away FROM sin and give you Life. If you are obedient. Was Abram obedient? Issac? Jacob? Samuel? So if you believe in Christianity and it's traditions like Sunday Worship ok it's you. CHOICES. Satan is the author of confusion. There is No confusion in Jesus. Jesus spoke the WORDS his Father TOLD Him. So Just like the men on the road they were confused . How could Jesus be the Savior of Israel? You see when Jesus died they are nothing else to say. It's either you obey Jesus or obey religion.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and **** delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and **** were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

None of that changes the fact that Luke reports a contemporary account that the day that Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene was exactly three days after His crucifixion. As you have repeatedly stated, that appearance happened on a Sunday.

Mark 16:9 also states that Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week, or Sunday.

To attempt to argue otherwise is to undermine the accuracy of the Gospels which in turn negates the authority of anything reported by those authors

Did Mary say that she seen his Resurrection ??? No Who seen Jesus Rise??? No One only that he was gone when they got there. So confusion on he resurrection is separating people from God to Worship SATAN ..Was he gone the FIRST DAY yes was the Romans Rule on The Jews destroyed? No But In 70 CE the Romans destroyed the Second Temple. Name the person that seen his resurrection? Only speculation.. When Mary got to the tomb he was ALREADY gone. If someone had seen his resurrection it would be different but No person seen it. Only that his was gone when they went to the tomb.. WHICH was the FIRST Chance they had being that the Sabbath Day had just ended..If what you believe doesn't go with the teaching of Jesus let it Go! Until you can find absolute Truth . No place in the Bible does it say to change the Day God CREATED for man to Rest from his Labor to the FIRST DAY. Absolutely no place. All through the Good News of Jesus proclaimed we are to understand and recognize that keeping the LAWS of God is the ONLY WAY to receive ETERNAL LIFE. It's your Soul . The Bible is my proof believe what you want. From the start to the finish We are to OBEY the voice of God. How can we keep his Commandment if people rejects the Sabbath Day??
We use his LAWS to live by. As told to us by Jesus. It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

1 John 2
King James Version
2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Believe what is in your heart to believe. Prophecy from Jeremiah 31 says

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

2 Corinthians 3:3
3 And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of uthe living God, not on vtablets of stone but on wtablets of xhuman hearts.1

Ezekiel 11:19
19 wAnd I will give them one heart, and xa new spirit I will put within them. yI will remove the heart of stone from their flesh zand give them a heart of flesh,

Ezekiel 36:26
26 And I will give you ia new heart, and ia new spirit I will put within you. iAnd I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Hebrews 8:10
10 hFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel

after those days, declares the Lord:

I will put my laws into their minds,

and iwrite them on their hearts,

and I will be their God,

and they shall be my people.

Not to stand between a religious zealot and his misunderstanding, but Luke 24:21 clearly states that the day that Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene was exactly three days after Christ was crucified
&&&&&
Mary arrived early the first day because she and the others Couldn't travel on the Sabbath Day. Jesus was gone..

He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

8 And they remembered his words,

Jesus words 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Jesus said 3 Days and 3 nights. Jesus was crucified on Passover. Jesus became our Passover he was laid in the tomb before SUNSET on Wednesday the following day Thursday The festival of Unleavened Bread Pharisees a high Sabbath Day and the elders went to the King to seal the tomb because they wouldn't be able to on Preparation Day was the day before Preparation Day for the regular Sabbath Day. When the Sabbath Day was over early on the first day Mary went to the tomb JESUS was already gone. So naturally people would say it's been 3 full days because there was no reason to go beforehand. So if you count you will see 3 nights and 3 days BUT if Sunday worship is to be believable. Find 3 nights and 3 days from Friday before SUNSET to Early morning the FIRST DAY. So Friday night is one Saturday night is two , Sunday 3rd nights how about daylight SABBATH DAY 1 , Sunday 2nd day, Monday 3rd Day.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath Day. God is the Creator of the Sabbath Day because God created it to be separated from work Days..
