Posters against HB2 are pointing out that people are worried about transgender people being able to use the shower locker room and shower of their choosing when there are bigger problems facing our nation. Wouldn't that argument go both ways? Just imagine what could be done for these causes if the time and money fighting HB2 was spent on them instead.

How about everyone in favor of this bill, step back, take a deep breath then read Part II, then you will have a reason to be angry.
Berger knew exactly what he was doing when he crafted this bill; list and incendiary issue first, then while the masses are outraged, slip in the real purpose for this bill in Part II.

The Charlotte Mayor and City Council started this unnecessary mess. They deserve whatever they get.

I have used the womens restroom when the mens restroom was broken at a local resturant as have many other men on occasion. And I have seen women use the mens restroom there.

All this mess is a Dog says trivial in comparison to hungry children, homeless folks etc. Who cares about Bruce and the funny circus anyhow in Greensboro, which is an off shoot olf Charlotte creating its own mess.

This is the biggest waste of time ever on this website. I accept all folks as long as they don't try to impose their lifestyle on me.

You may hang where ever you want to just as long as you don't violate my rights..

Are you saying these problems are going unattended? Because I'm pretty sure there are several organizations dedicated to these worthy causes that you can donate to or volunteer at to help make a difference.

The pure ignorance shown on this thread about a bathroom when children go to bed each day in the country hungry, homeless freeze or starve to death, animals are killed in shelters, and two classes of America cannot afford to go to a doctor or hospital. Priceless.

Like we've seen numerous times on this thread, most of the bigots don't understand this law could affect them. It's ignorance like that that makes it easy for Republicans to shove this down their throats.

People would rather others go jobless than admit they are bigots.

Taking away the right to peruse legal action in state court for discrimination is wrong.

Give the republicans a little rope and they'll hang themselves every time.

Saw in another link 13 conventions have pulled out of Charlotte after HB2.

Not sure it's a done deal yet either way. It just wasn't moved during the Board of Governors meeting. Rachel Nichols also makes some good points in the video on this link.

The NBA said today, they aren't moving. Their lawyers understand the penalties of violating a contract. They gave a good excuse of not abandoning a league franchise (the hornets)

Decsurvey it's harsh but given the facts that could be true. I posted that idea a year ago thinking I would get blasted but no one understood what I was saying. Based on the fact they say they are born that way your theory holds water.

In nature it is called population control. If the usual nature of population offsets by natural death processes do not achieve balance then nature will find another way to get rid of the overpopulation.

Say what they will; it is a theory that is out there. Majority of transgender or gay people will never procreate. Thus, within a generation or two will result in population decrease and the culling of that gene from human genome at a future point of population decline.
