How does everyone feel about the bathroom law inclusion which derailed the rest of the bill?

How does everyone feel about state employees given back their rights and not the public sector?

How does everyone feel about thelady that was fired from her job due to her age and now because of this new law can do little about it?

C'mon. Indulge me.

Now: Velcro Shoes likes the law in its entirety. She is a conservative. So some conservatives do not like any parts of the law.

So, yes, there is obviously opposition. So now focus on point three (or one or two, I don't care) and quit trying to change the subject.

I've answered several of your questions in good faith, and this is what you focus on?

I'm starting to think your interest is disingenuous.

Focus. OMG.

Indulge me...come on.

What's it mean?

That particular poster enjoys calling others ding bats, but that's OK.

It's a term of endearment, like ding bats.

What does that have to do with Velcro shoes?

I don't understand.

Who likes to use emjois when insulting people and that's supposed to make it funny.

No. Go ahead. Explain it.

Velcro shoes: ______

She's a conservative poster.

It was included to help protect the LGBT community.

Now only state employees are protected, seems fair enough.

Explain your definition of Velcro shoes.

shouldawouldacoulda

Three: Conservatives hate all of the bill. Ask Velcro Shoes. She wants a state dress code.

Answer to question one: To protect transgender individuals.

Two: I don't see a problem with it.

OMGOMGOMGOMG

Ok...AGAIN.

Why, do you THINK, the bathroom law was included?

Would you be comfortable if the bathroom portion were excluded?

Have you considered the bill would have never met opposition had it not been for the bathroom law inclusion?

Think of this law as car insurance, you hope you never have to use it but thankful it's there in case you do. We hope the LGBT community and others remain safe and not discriminated against, but the law is their to protect in case it occurs.

I'm not sure how else to explain it.

That seems like belittling.

It was for sure, at least an attempt as such.

I get that you harp on this bathroom thing, yes I get that.

I get the state of NC decided to tell Charlotte's government what to do.

I get the state did a knee jerk reaction.

I get that Charlotte was trying to insure protection of the LGBT community, as well as others.

I get that MANY MANY cities around the US have enacted the same law that Charlotte did without issue. One of which is Myrtle Beach, SC. I'm sure some of you will be visiting this summer, watch where you pee.

I don't think breathing is going to help what ails you.
