Anti, I don't know what your politics are (though I can guess) but you have employed a typical Republican tactic to "prove" your point. Take isolated incidents then present them as being the general rule. Also, citing unverifiable statistics, I guess Josef Goebbels is alive and well. As to the Minneapolis shooting, it happened in the dark of night in a back alley. It was not on video to be seen by all and sundry.

Anti, Just get yourself videoed killing a man by kneeling on his neck and see how quickly you are arrested, that's of course he happens to be white!
In 2017, also in Minneapolis, a black cop with 3 formal complaints in the previous 2 years, shot and killed a white woman that had done nothing wrong. It took them 8 months to arrest and charge him:
Nationwide, in 2019 there were 370 white people killed by a cop, versus 235 black people and 158 Hispanic people:
And studies have shown that "white officers are not more likely to shoot and kill minority suspects... black officers were just as likely to shoot black citizens as white officers were."
It's wrong and naive to pretend like this is a race issue. But it IS an issue of allowing cops to continue working with formal complaints, and an issue of not enough training.

Tmann, you've got it right, time for a major change. For decades it's been taught in our schools: "That our system of government is not perfect but it's the best there is." That not been the case since the early twentieth century, at this point in time with the possible exceptions of India and Italy the USA is probably the most corrupt democracy in the world. The fact that a presidents can pack our courts with people who share their ideologies (I don't care if it's Trump or Obama) is so blatantly wrong as to be laughable, if the consequences weren't so dire. America it's time to wake up and shake up!

It is a bunch of people who are pissed off and don't trust or like our government. Fact is, they have every right to feel so. Our government does not protect them. Instead our government choses to repress them. You trespass and get bite by a dog. Then the government kills the dog for doing what it should be doing. That is what is happening to minorities. People trespass into black people's lives and get bite. The government sends in the National Guard to repress the blacks. The trespasser are allowed to go free to trespass again. The victims are always the victims.

Some are just thugs and criminals looking for any reason to do thug crap. Others are people who are sick and tired of JBTs running around harassing people. If a non LEO would have been the one to put their knee on someone neck they would get arrested immediate. But a cop does it and the person dies it takes several days before he is arrested and charged and only after things go to he!!

All four cops should have been arrested and charged immediately, instead the authorities tap danced around it until they were forced to do something.
I disagree. They bowed to social pressure and arrested him without sufficient evidence for a conviction, which forced them to charge him with 3rd degree murder (an accident) instead of 1st degree murder. The speed of the arrest will more than likely lead to him being acquitted due to a lack of sufficient evidence, which will just result in more riots.
It took 4 days to make an arrest, when "normally these cases can take nine months to a year." That was a mistake.
But still. He's arrested, and they did it with "unprecedented speed." So what more do the rioters want?
Is this an outburst of pent-up rage after 3 years of extreme racism that is seemingly encouraged by the government?
Or is this really just a bunch of people that found an excuse to rob businesses and get free stuff?
