Rose, while I agree with you that repubs distort Christianity (as do most Bible Belt "Christians) the gospels never portrayed Jesus as hating anyone or anything. Do not emulate these backwoods preachers in claiming to know what God thinks, no one knows what God thinks.

Education is what others put into books for fact. We all perceive things differently so goes history. Religion vs atheism, democrat vs republican. Don't let others tell you what to believe. Why not tell your daughters that if they love selling fish or fixing drains, they can be equally successful? And be great mothers as well! We never doubted those fathers.

Maybe your dream is a Trade. No shame! My cousin built a wonderful life as a plumber for his family and his education did not include college. He just built a business over time. My Uncle was a fish salesman, he just loved the fresh fish industry and built himself a million dollar business selling fresh fish nationwide.

Were you able to attend college? Most folks do not even know where education will lead them until they are a couple years in. What is your dream for yourself? You can be a great parent and still dream.

So sorry, that was your experience. What was your work? I get it that folks toil in jobs that do not light up their minds. If you could dream your biggest dream, what would that be in terms of career? What is your interest?

I believe that she did in fact do and accomplish great things. Yes.
But in no way should we hold her dying wish over the constitution, that's just insanity.
Why can we not just remember her for her great accomplishments??
As for family and careers, yes... women can have both, because we are strong in so many ways.
As for me, my family is what comes first, however. This pandemic is a perfect example. For me anyways. Family first.
