I had lunch/dinner at Golden Corral in Winston-Salem (really better than it was here). There is such a variety, I always enjoy it. There are so many good places to eat in Winston. Next is Red Lobster, my favorite shrimp place, for my birthday next month.

My niece fixed a country meal for me: garlic and herb pork loin, green beans, stewed potatoes, mac and cheese, cornbread and iced water. (I brought leftovers home!)

I can eat breakfast food anytime, as it is also my favorite meal, but while in Boone, we had a seafood platter which was really good.

Breakfast food is my favorite. I had bbq chicken skewers, rice, potato, and some nasty carrots that I ended up throwing away.

I guess I had lunch/dinner combined. It was so late, we just stopped out of town and had Chinese. I love those buffets! I always have some good hot tea with Chinese food. I will have a piece of my frozen Red Velvet Cake for dessert later on.

 countrygal, I had cheese grits, eggs over easy, waffles with lots of syrup, of course that was before the brew and snacks I conjured up for the party last night

Pinto beans, onions, cornbread fritters, chow chow, and butter milk; just a simple, good old country meal. I even had an ice cream bar for dessert!

I thought it was time for a pot of homemade vegetable beef soup with homemade biscuits and cold milk. I will have plenty to freeze for later.
